Michigan was ranked #5 when little ole Application State beat them. Yes it was rare and totally unforeseen but it happens. I think to many of our fans have had their heart ripped out to even entertain the thought we can beat LSU. I understand this completely but hey until we kickoff and the fat lady sings I will be watching thinking we can beat them. LSU is no different than Michigan. Hey now. To the few of us who live in the stoplight known as Mire, we are a proud people. We have a church, elementary school, small grocery store, and a carwash. Those who live in the fancy places like Scott, Duson, Rayne, we who live the simple life are happier than you.

Nobody is writing the game off. Nobody here isn't hoping and pulling for a great showing and just possibly, by slimmest of odds, an upset. However, to not face reality is rediculous.

After reading those fricking idiots posts', it just makes me wish that much more that we do it though. I would give more than a testicle to see those clowns implode!

_ I think out of the years we have played LSU, this is our best chance yet. I believe the team will have a great attitude going into the game. Despite what some may think or swear they know, the team and Bustle never take these games lightly, we always prepared to win it was never about the money. Let people say what they want but I think all will be pleasantly surprised. One key is to realize that LSU will score, we cant let that discourage us. Also we need good ball placement on special teams. This means punts to 20 or further and the same for kickoffs. Protect the ball and work an even passing and running game. Forget that it is LSU or Death Valley, its a football game on a Saturday night in Louisiana. _

Regardless of what score or prediction a fan may have, nobody on here is suggesting that the players and coaches are taking this game any more lightly than any other game on our schedule thinking they have no chance at winning. That is NOT the perception or thought process..

_ To me, it knocks Tulane off of their high horse and uppity position in C-USA with a loss to a 1AA school and it takes the sting out of UL losing to McNeese with another 1A program losing to them. In my mind, McNeese is like Appalachian State, one of the top 1AA programs in the country and would beat a lot of schools (and just beat Appalachian State on the road). They almost knocked off N. Carolina a year or so ago. Kudos to them and moreso if they can knock off Tulane. _

But then you have to hear twice the gloating if MSU wins. I don't know if I can handle that either.

I thought it was you that already made that donation for the first two victories this year. How about a poll question...would you give a testicle to watch UL beat LSU? Also break down the poll into age groups...it aught to count more if they are still being used...it wouldn't be fair if only old buzzards answerd the poll.
