    Gautier was not healthy as you probably remember. He was coming off an injury and Broadway was in the midst of setting the season yards record ( I think) while Gautier was getting better. Kind of hard to remove him after he started most of the year and was playing so well.

    In the big picture of UL/USL football, you're point is well taken. But like the bowl teams has inflated to ridiculous proportions, so have the individual stats. It's not the same game. Having said that, I realize its hard to compare anything anymore from the 80's and 90's to today.
