Watch it Jay plans on using "Surrender" on Terrible Tune Tuesday. First that is a great song and second how can you use that song before Debbie Boone's "You Light Up My Life" which was number one for ten weeks. The only thing I can think of is Jay loves Debbie Boone and hates Cheap Trick.

Saw Cheap Trick at the Saenger about 20 years ago - after the concert we went to Pat O's / me and a buddy got a corner table all the way in the back - who walks up you ask ? Robin Zander and Rick Nielsen asking us if they can sit with us to hide out and chill - sat with them for an hour talking bout touring, guitars, etc... Needless to say it was an awesome night !!

Saw Cheap Trick at the Saenger about 20 years ago - after the concert we went to Pat O's / me and a buddy got a corner table all the way in the back - who walks up you ask ? Robin Zander and Rick Nielsen asking us if they can sit with us to hide out and chill - sat with them for an hour talking bout touring, guitars, etc... Needless to say it was an awesome night !!

I saw them at the second day of rock in New Orleas in 1980 & went to see them when they opened for Poison & Def Leopard. They were still singing the same three songs they sang in 1980. I'm sure they won't play more than thirty minutes. But Kool & the Gang will be jamming for at least ninety minutes to two hours.

Cheap Trick... I've seen them twice and it was not by choice. Once in 1997 when they opened up for Stone Temple Pilots and once in the 80s because they were playing a free concert in the Astrodome parking lot while people waited for the tram to Astroworld. It was not even worth being free. Needless to say, I am not a fan of Cheap Trick.

I like both groups. Obviously, they're from totally different musical spectrums. I've only seen Cheap Trick once in concert. They opened for Foreigner back in 1980 or 81 at the then Centroplex in BR. They kicked butt. I loved their tunes ever since. Not every band or genre of music is for everybody.

I think you've made Mobile out to be a killing zone. I'm not saying you couldn't get in a world of trouble there. But does NO not have some pretty dangerous areas? Does Houston not? Does Shreveport not? My preference for NO is not that I think it's less dangerous. I like being in a domed stadium in the winter. I like the excellent hotels, bars and restaurants in short easy walking distance, and I like the festive atmosphere it facilitates our huge Cajun fan gathering.

None Thursday and Friday is 90% with only 10% on Saturday----I was told that some things have been moved inside!! Any news???
