Well, I hate to disagree, but....
It will be a huge upset if either Fresno or Wyoming gets to 6-6. And, Boise State might be in the Access Bowl. If that happens, the NO bowl will be open.
And, honestly, I believe that's a more likely scenario than what Tim is stating here.

The NO Bowl has been good to us and I know the Belt tie ins suck. But I do wish we could branch out and our guys and fans could get the bowl experience at different places. In general, college football is cyclical. Especially for the smaller conference schools. Its likely that we may experience a dry spell for bowl games. I'd like to see the Cajuns take the show to different places before that happens.
I really, really, really, really, really, really....really don't want to play anybody from the MAC or any former SBC school in CUSA in the NOLA Bowl.
That would suck, so much.
