UL bowl opponent likely will be Mountain West

If UL makes a fourth straight trip to the New Orleans Bowl as is now expected, its opponent is likely to come from the Mountain West, executive director Billy Ferrante said Thursday.

It will be a huge upset if either Fresno or Wyoming gets to 6-6. And, Boise State might be in the Access Bowl. If that happens, the NO bowl will be open.

And, honestly, I believe that's a more likely scenario than what Tim is stating here.
