    UL head football coach Mark Hudspeth currently ranks No. 71 on the list of Division I college football coaches with an annual salary of $1,003,156, according to a list of head coach salaries released Wednesday by USA Today Sports.

    Hudspeth's $1.3M dollar salary puts him as the highest-paid coach in the Sun Belt and the second highest in the state behind LSUs Les Miles at $4.369 million.

    Conference upgrade is seriously the only way you get your money's worth from a coach's salary. Fight to get into a better conference to protect the investment. Otherwise you will relapse. You get in a better conference you get more money for just being a member. Less money you have to extract from Joe Fan to survive. More you get from the non - college person to wear UL gear on his person and on his car and talk up UL.
    When do our leaders recognize and act? Dr. Authement and Blanco leave but we're still stuck. When does the enlightenment occur?

    I am confused in the first sentence it says 1,003,156 an in the 2nd it says 1.3Mill. I am not math major, but 1,003,156 is not equal to 1.3 Million? Am I missing something.
