To be fair...nobody told them that dogs need food and water.

what's wrong with playing in Hawaii? Tech used to do it every other year in the WAC and the Hawaii Bowl has a quality opponent vs. MWC team

    But the big questions are:
    1) do they have enough blue tarps for you guys?
    2) is there a place for y'all to bury your mascot there?
    Just wondering...

Your right.....nothing wrong. No school can afford to turn their nose up to any bowl game offered. CoughCough.....

There is a difference in a conference game and a bowl game. Conference you are in and out. Bowl game you are there for a good bit longer (week) with all the additional expenses.

Regardless if they come calling you pack your bags and go to Hawaii. Good luck to you guys.

Cal's offense would quite possibly put 100 on our DBs!

edit: when does Georgia Southern become bowl eligible, just out of curiosity?

I attended the Distinguished Donors Banquet earlier tonight & had a chance to talk to some of the people that have more influence than me. The word was "New Orleans Bowl" but no announcement till Dec 7th. They feel like if UL wins the next two games that we may be in contention for much larger bowl if things shake out. I got my New Orleans reservations tonight.
Also, there were more academic donations made tonight (for the year) than any other time in the history of UL. Student enrollment is very close to breaking 19,000. The Petroleum Club was packed. If anyone else on the board attended, please expand on the academic achievements.

Their pass defense is ranked worse than ours (125), and their overall defense is 124. They have played overall tougher competition by far, though.
