I don't know much about this at all but if a team just watched the signals from earlier games and matched them with the resulting plays, there would be no need to get any info. from any former staff member. I just always assumed teams altered the signals and their meanings game by game to keep future opponents from doing this.

Agree. If he did it, he shouldn't have. But...who in the world keeps the same signals after replacing the coordinator? Especially after (from what the new guy is claiming), multiple opponents have (allegedly) had the signals. CHANGE THE DAMM SIGNALS IDIOT!!

I'm starting to realize more and more that Cliff Dinglesbury is a 18 year old posing as a Head Coach.

    Correct...it's just lazy.

It's like not hiding your controller while playing Tecmo Bowl. If you let the other guy see your controller, they'll pick your play every time. You can't report that crap to Adam Shefter

If you're not changing your signals every game you shouldn't be coaching.

If they were smart, the texas tech coaches would have used this knowledge to their advantage. Keep the signals but change their meaning. IF...IF there is any truth to this

Several Oakland Raiders players claim the Bill Callahan never changed up the audible codes and signals after taking over for Gruden. They went into the Super Bowl against Tampa Bay using the same exact stuff.

Gannon set a SB record for most picks thrown, with I believe 3 brought back for TDs. Was almost as if they knew the exact play, and the defenders made the INTs while in stride towards the endzone.

Working here in Lubbock today and their ESPN radio show has not taken kindly to Wallerstedt. He seems to have not been a fan favorite while here.

ironically, they are broadcasting today's show from Baton Rouge.
