I would almost bet that 60% of the passing yardage came after the catch. How many tackles were missed?
As a defense we are too "High" in the open field....stay in a athletic position with your feet under you and you can adjust .....not lunge at people
Congrats to the CAJUNS and Coach HUD. The last four seasons have been real exciting. With that said, though, IF the secondary was as good as our DL, just think how much better the DL would be and how many more sacks we'd have. With a D that could keep the other team from scoring and give back ball to O, think how much better this team would be. This is a weakness I hope can be improved on.
Guys, he had to throw, cuz we held them to minus yards rushing! How bout we talk about how IMPRESSIVE a feat that was!! Agree that our secondary needs fixing, but bottom line is that for the last six games, we've out scored our opponent!!! That's all that really matters.....SCOREBOARD! Did any of us think we'd be 7-3 after the 1-3 start!?
We have changed defensive coordinators and hired a consultant but wide receivers still run free all over the feild. I don't understand it. Normally when an offense becomes one dimensional it gives the defense the advantage. ULM had no run game all night but still seemed to pass at will. The defense did get the sacks in the last drive when they had to and we did get the win. All pregame reports said ULM had no offense but yet they pass for beaucoup yards on us and still missed a lot of wide open receivers. Come on Willis tighten it up and this team could be really good. GEAUX CAJUNS
