Not picking on you, but these statements make me laugh. If anyone can tell the breakdown of fans by an aerial photo they are either crazy or autistic. I was at the game and all I can tell you is that there were a lot of Cajun fans and a lot of SU fans. If you held a gun to my head I would guess more UL fans. The thing is none of you know for sure. If VLW say more than 18,000 let him have it. I will take the beatdown win and let them have their attendance award.

LOL!! One things for sure, there wont be another regular season college football game in the state of LA, not involving LSU that will draw 41K. At least not anytime soon....

Channel 2 ran a report this AM about 150 or so Southern fans who bought $24 reserved seating tickets through Southern only to find the band in their seats when they showed up. According to the report they were told presumably by SU officials to either find another seat or leave.

From what I understood from the feature, SU is offering them free tickets to a future home game.

I can tell you that from looking across from the student side there was a lot more red in the stands than anything else

Don't back down from that. The Superdome is a neutral site. And the Bayou classic is more of a celebration of HBCU football than a "regular season game".


Outside of Baton Rouge, there's not another team in this state that will pull 41K on their home field.
