
Less than a month after Spotify announced it was introducing family subscription plans, Rdio has revealed that it’s lowering the price of its own family plans to $5 for each extra subscriber. Rdio was one of the first music-streaming service to launch family subscription plans, way back in 2011. It was initially restricted to 3 family members, but was subsequently extended to five last year. The upshot of the family plan meant you no longer had to pay the full $9.99 for each member – two accounts cost $17.99 per month, while three would set the main subscriber back $22.99....
