Almost two years later, the memories still haunt Antwyne Zanders. The thoughts linger for UL's senior linebacker like a bad dream that won't end.

The nightmare unfolded during the third game of the 2007 season in a match-up against FCS member McNeese State. In the first meeting between the teams since 1986, the Ragin' Cajuns suffered a shocking 38-17 loss after committing five turnovers in front of the third-largest crowd at Cajun Field.

That year, UL finished a disappointing 3-9. The Cajuns rebounded last fall for the program's third six-win season in four years and a second-place finish in the Sun Belt before narrowly missing out on a bowl bid.
