At what point up by 4+ touchdowns would putting Haack in NOT signal that we were going to run the ball? Even before that last TD. That's what happens in a blowout, and it's the life of a backup. Either he goes in when we're blowing somebody out, or he goes in when we're getting blown out. Neither situation is good for getting a young QB throws in a normal game situation.

There's no reason we can't run a skeleton offense for Haack to actually get work in. What's really the point of him being in there if it's to turn around and drop it off?
