I went inside the Swamp today and fencing was being put up in both endzones--On the scoreboard side it was about 10' from the bottom but squared around the UL---the other side same thing with a jog around the tunnel--VERY NICE look---The mant. dude said that 26k tickets have been sold and this does not include the red zone and student overflow!!!! Wow--hold off rain!!!!

Still, a historically significant opener could draw 24,000 Cajuns fans. Add that to the 6,000 SU fans from BR and another 1,000 SU fans in the Acadiana area and Houston and you get a capacity crowd and a few grass-stained butts. Sounds like fun. Wish I could be there. _

Uh... I think he really closed the last scrimmage because he did not want anymore idle talk about the QB situation in the media and on this site. There was too much pressure on the 2 guys competing for the starting job with both of them being put under a microscope in each scrimmage.

But that is just my opinion. I believe that if he said anything about SU or any other opponent watching pratice, it was in jest.
