I am only talking in terms of this year, but we had 1 shot and we missed it. It's not like we played 3 teams that we should have beat and lost all of them. And before anyone goes on their "Boise was beatable" rant, they are 4-0 at home again this year and take a look at this litter excerpt (They are undefeated at home since the date mentioned):
As of November 17, 2012, the Broncos are 87–4 at home since the 1999 season with the only losses being to Washington State in 2001, AP #18 Boston College in the 2005 MPC Computers Bowl, to #24 TCU in 2011, and to San Diego State in 2012. They never lost a home conference game during their 10 years as a member of the WAC (40–0). The Broncos are 84–3 in regular season home games since 1999 and were on a 35 game regular season home winning streak until losing to TCU. Prior to the loss to TCU (who was in its last season in the MWC), Boise State had not lost a home conference game since the season finale in 1998 (47 in a row).
Louisiana - 38
Aggies - 17
We will run the ball!
Brass said this would be our best year ever. I never heard one of them say we were going to knock off Ole Miss or Boise. We are on pace to finish this season with 10 wins. That is the best year ever in the history of UL football. Fans took what they said and decided that "best year ever" meant beating a top 5 team and someone who just flat out doesn't lose at home.
Just watched the Aggies press conference...nice for them to use the Louisiana name reference for us and LOVED the Maonroe name for the other school played. Us "Louisiana", them "Moanroe". Separation, inch by inch.
