Brian Williams will be a good player. He looked a little anxious out there. Was rushing and forcing things too much. Once he calmed down he started to look pretty good. He has a very good mid range game and can really get up there for alley oops

Well, we do have three Williams on the roster ......he coulda been talking about Donovan?
No I was talking about Brian, I'm not at all saying he was terrible but I think the big body(Washington) showed more. Man when him and long are down low it will be dangerous. And I liked the 3 ball from Register the in out game will be good!
Brian Williams looked shaky at the start, but he played very well to close the half and improved more into the second half. He will be the do-it-all guy for this team. Scoring, Rebounding, Defense, & Leadership. He will fill the stat sheet up...stay tuned
You have to remember he was playing more of the 4 position last night when he will mainly play the 3
Stove and Washington both showed they have the potential to be solid contributors this year. Stove can get to the basketball while Washington has the body and basketball smarts to play inside at this level. Game plan was to go inside all night and eventually that was successful. A few times I thought we should have thrown it back out after driving as there was a lot of congestion in the lane early in the game. Coach Marlin got on the refs about this and then a few fouls started being called. Once Brian Williams and Stove calmed down and let the game come to them they were effective. Also, Jay Wright was impressive with his defensive quickness. I was OK with a 27 point win as our two inside starters did not play and neither did our first big guy off the bench. Another tuneup awaits on Friday Nov. 14 with Louisiana College. Note, this is not an exhibition but will count on the record despite the fact Louisiana College is not a D1 school. First game against D1 competition is at Tulsa on Monday Nov. 17. That game is on ESPN3.
