That also has nothing to do with Luke, it's not his fault or his fight

To each their own...just know that you are missing out on some really great articles, tweets and coverage but by all means keep reading the articles that say we played Arkansas State last weekend.

for the record, i agree with you, I edited my last post typo.i think Luke has done great work and i enjoy reading his articles. im pretty sure Buckley is trying to get fired because he hates it so much here. The only way to make that many mistakes is on purpose

I'm not defending mistakes, but in the end, who YOU are is more important than who you played.

I can't defend the Advocate who always gets UL's opponents right, but doesn't know the name of the team they cover.

ps This is not about Luke

I get it and that was one example of a mistake..but if anyone on here can tell me that Buckley is a better journalist and covers the Cajuns better than Luke I would laugh in their face. All I am saying is that in my opinion quality work and coverage of ALL UL sports is more important than what the Baton Rouge paper calls us...

Which is why I don't bash the Advertiser.

Better place than ever to plug Luke's chat starting in 30 minutes

I'll plug Buckleys chat once I hear word on when it starts...

---Buckley has written some of the finest stories ever on Cajun players---Very talented in this area and I was also impressed as he pushed and got the game day 4 page spread for every game---I am sure that Luke is a fine journalist but give Buckley the credit of the Sports page in the advertiser having jumped to a pretty exciting level and lots of coverage of the Cajuns which before him did not exist!!!

Been saying this. It's truly an embarrassment. If this happens, though, who's going to pick him up? Why would anyone want effort like that?
