Chris Fisher still carries the frustration that struck UL's football program last December. In fact, it's a motivating factor for the center going into his senior season.
After being picked sixth in the Sun Belt's preseason poll last fall, the Ragin' Cajuns finished second in the league standings and won six games for the third time in four years. Players, coaches and fans thought that their team did enough to warrant the program's first bowl berth since 1970 despite losing three of its final four games as the injuries piled up down the stretch.
Ultimately those hopes were shattered.
