Jay provided enough stats to show that the kid is anything but mediocre as QB at UL.
Even Jay was all for benching Brett Farve before the end lf his career.

No one could ever call him mediocre.

Everyone has their own pet reason for change.

Just for the record, I thought that passing was the only way to end in the end zone for the USA game. For that reason, I thought Haack should go in like he did for Southern, to spark the offense. I do not think Haack should be the starting quarterback this year. Not that my opinion matters...

    In Hud, we trust.

His 3rd run was for 33 yards and he was chased down from behind. No one ever said he was fast I don't feel like watching the entire game to see when he started going down "gingerly". Just wanted to clear up any confusion caused by your statement.

tdncz - when you use quotes around the word "weapon", sarcasm is implied. FYI
You made me go back and replay the game. And you're right. I'm confusing the Tech game with Ole Miss. He never ran "gingerly" against Tech. We just weren't ready for what Tech had for us.

Which, in and of itself, is unacceptable.

That means he is out for Ole Miss and Boise....a major piece is missing...we go into a slump. He comes back and helps us out of a slump and we get a much needed win. Then bamM...breaks his ankle early in the Texas state game. Do you think that would be difficult to deal with? ALSO...thunder and lighting have really only been healthy TOGETHER one game...stAte.

Its time to look at ALL the factors that affect the team and stop thinking that these very young men (can't forget TB is married and has a little one) are just that...young men that will have off days and make mistakes. And the coaches have to adjust for those bad days.

I really wonder what is said on the head sets. maybe an ex college coach can shed some light on it...probably wont matter though.
----Get his _____ out of the game coach---What the hell is wrong with ???--Coach he is tired--I know but keep his _____ in!!! The sweep is wide open---Damn throw to the 2 deep coverage---He is hurt and can't throw feed to the birds---???? can't catch a cold in a bucket of germs---Can we get fired after the first game of the season??? Tell ??? that we are in the white uniforms!!!

The best arm we've seen on our team in many years is wearing the headphones. It gets a little frustrating when wide open receivers are missed. It's Hud's call and we're winning games with TB. I can't wait to see what happens next year. I hope we have some young WRs ready to step up. I also have a bad feeling that Haack will be wearing the headphones again. Just seems like such a waste of a whole aspect of our offense. We're very one dementional right now but its good enough to beat most teams in the conference. Can you guys live with a Free Haack next year campaign?

These people are being ridiculed because they just can't grasp the concept that they are wrong when they think that Terrance is a mediocre QB. His statistics prove otherwise.
That #freehaack stuff is just a few people that simply like Haack. I don't see all of this supposed hate on TB. I consider Terrance to be a good QB in our system. He's not a great passer... but he's a somewhat effective passer. I just don't see where the limited few that discuss the QB upsides and downsides of certain players (all of which play for the Cajuns) warrant any "ridicule". I guess if Haack started for us, and he couldn't run effectively... and someone said that they'd rather see Terrance in the read option... we'd have to hear how liking Broadway makes you stupid. Some people prefer Haack (he plays for us) and some prefer Broadway (he plays for us)... exactly where is there a problem in that?

In my opinion... read posts, give your opinions, and stop shredding bulks of fans that you disagree with. If I could bust some legs with a bat in our "Cajun Nation", those swings would be restricted to only the few big mouths that cut down our fans. There is only one group that has 1000 years of immunity at UL... and it is the UL fan base. If you make money while following our athletics... you have ZERO rights to ridicule our fans for absolutely anything that isn't illegal or immoral.

There is a problem with it when your opinion is not shared by the "Voice of the Ragin Cajuns." As long as you share his opinion you are fine.

The minute you have a point of view that he doesnt agree with you are fair game for being attacked. It happens every day on his show and is the main reason why it is the SAME HANDFUL of people that call in EVERYDAY while he is on the air. Everyone else knows that if they are an independant thinker and call to give a different point of view which doesnt agree with the "host" then you get hung up on and ragged for the next 5 minutes. There is only room for one point of view on 1420 between 3 and 4 p.m. and if you call to give a different perspective you are in for a rude awakening from the old man in the pictures from the previous pages.

Harris plays an important part in our offense because his job is to take a pounding and soften up the defense for other guys, so even minimal rushing yardage serves a purpose when it comes to him, but he's not as effective this year as he has been in the past. Some of that may be due to losing carries to McGuire. As to the 20+ carries affecting McGuire, it absolutely would. He's gotten nicked up both years on very limited touches. If you turn him into a workhorse, the increased pounding will bring up aches and sprains that he may not be dealing with right now. He may be tough enough to play through them, but they will definitely have an impact on his long-term health and effectiveness.
When Harris is in the game I believe that the box is loaded up to stop his power runs almost all in between the off tackles----Tough yardage and when Reed is in he is pass blocking or has been for 2-3 years---I like Nixon in the mix and want to see him pass!!!

Jesus, do you/jay even read? I never said TB has been mediocre all season. I said he was "mediocre for 3 quarters and came alive late in the game". For some reason, y'all keep thinking I said his career has been mediocre at UL. Hell no! But I will say he is not having that great of a season, and the stats can back up that comment.

The only time I go after callers is if they call in attack mode. Reasonable men may disagree.

You sound like someone who got his feelings hurt.

LOL. That might be the best thing I've read on any message board.

If not, at least the best thing I've read in this now abortion of an in-game thread.
