when was the last time we covered at home? are we swapping points for some rcaf love from the cajun mafia?
If you want Eli as a run threat you are going to have to put up with Broadway. We run the read option people. If we free Haack Eli won't be as effective.
Move on to NMSU
next year will be interesting as to which qb direction we go with. If you free haack without harris eli is in for a slump year
So a more effective mid to deep level passing game is bad for The Prophet's run game?
Off subject but I've got some excellent snow ski property for sale just north of Rayne. Just a few steps from the lifts.
no but a qb that cant run and no power back is
Yall have no clue about football if you think haack at QB hurts Eli. LMAO That is comical.
i didnt say he would suck. gees people. kid is having a solid year, some of that is because harris pounds the middle opening him up for big runs on the weak side, some of that is the zone read play of broadway. add haak and zo graduates that is no more thats all im saying. fellas acting like im angeleast or something
I said after the La Tech game that our fanbase was "on the verge of Aaron Brooks-ing the Broadway/Haack situation" (definition: no matter how well the team did, there would be a group consistently calling for us to pull Broadway and harp on every mistake he made because they're convinced the backup QB is the answer to what ails us). If there comes a time that Broadway needs to be pulled or we need Haack to play for whatever reason, we'll make the move. Until then, just go for the ride. Calling for it after every game no matter how well Broadway plays is just frustrating and, honestly, makes it a lot easier for me to not come here because every thread involving either of the QBs devolves into the same thing. Like Rebel02 said, he doesn't put up Drew Brees numbers, but very few people do; he's got a lot of Louisiana football fans spoiled.
