Can anyone think of a former Ragin Cajun football player who wore number 6?

I seem to recall a cat named Mike. QB DB Slot Fake Punts Kick Coverage could have played any skill position on the field period end of story. Nat was special as well.

You guys had a special team during those late 70s. Thanks to you and Bankruptcy for reviving the memories. I'm just glad I was able to witness every one of those games from 75 to 80. We used to go pray for our team at 4pm Mass in Erath then head to the stadium for 5:30 for a 7:30 game. Our crew always occupied the same area of seats. Mid field top row. An easy run to the BR and concessions during time outs and between quarters. You didn't want to miss any part of The Show.

    Thanks.

Nat Durant wore # 6 from 1975 to 1978. A 5'6" cat quick slotback from Amite, Nat was a playmaker. I can still see Nat take that handoff on the inside reverse and run for days. He would have scored most of his touchdowns if we were playing touch football. Nobody could lay a hand on him! He did make it to the final cut with the Saints. An exciting player and another really good guy.

Yep, end of story! One of the most exciting players to ever wear a Cajun uniform. I barely remember Mitchell, but for me it is hard to believe that he was more exciting than Des.
