Great point...I am not sure how they work it but I can definately suggest it. I know for the high school challenge that we can't bring Vince to Shreveport though. 8-)
I know that one of the long term goals of the chapter is to offer scholar athlete awards in the area. Spreading the chapter too large might make this harder. Thoughts?
INVINCIBLE HIGH SCHOOL CHALLENGE:
The goal of the Kinesiology student club is to help start the FIRST chapter of the Maxwell Football Club here in Acadiana. This would be the FIRST chapter granted outside of the original chapter in Philadelphia in 1938. If the KPA can help generate 300 memberships the Maxwell Football Club will grant us Chapter Status. What does UL Kinesiology have to gain from this? The Maxwell Football Club will adopt UL Kinesiology in future fund raising efforts, ESPN will mention Acadiana on its national awards show which will give our area, school, and city national publicity.
Membership Information: ($35 a year membership)
• Voting rights on Major College and Professional Awards (we would have enough votes to block vote Drew Brees as the NFL player of the year EVERY year as well as block vote any players from Alabama) 8-)
• Weekly news letter on college and pro-football (Maxwell Momentum)
• Eventual involvement in high school scholar athlete awards and services
• Great recognition for our community and University on a national level
WE KNOW RAGINPAGIN HAS PASSIONATE FOOTBALL FANS AND THIS IS WHERE YOU CAN HELP US SPREAD THE WORD
THE INVINCIBLE CHALLENGE:
The Area High School that signs up the most Maxwell Club Members Will Get:
•A special Visit from Vince Papale at your High School To address your football team Thursday (OCT 15th) before Practice
•Autographed Drew Brees Jersey which can be raffled or auctioned off for your high school
•Other Auction/raffle autographs including Jake Delhomme, Brandon Stokley, Brian Mitchell, Reggie Bush and others

If we get the first ever chapter of the Maxwell Football Club (outside the original) started here in South Louisiana we would have some really unique opportunities for the south. Drew Brees being a former Maxwell Award winner will hopefully give support in our future efforts. In addition to voting on national awards at the college and pro level, we would need to come up wtih local awards that all members can vote on. I wanted some feedback from some of you guys on this topic. Here is what I came up with with a friend of mine who is a coach in the area.
Local High School Awards:
Large School (5-A to 3-A)
*Maxwell Football Club South Louisiana Player of the Year
*Maxwell Football Club South Louisiana Scholar Player of the Year
Small School (2-A & 1-A)
*Maxwell Football Club South Louisiana Player of the Year
*Maxwell Football Club South Louisiana Scholar Player of the Year
College Football Awards:
*Maxwell Football Club Louisiana Offensive Player of the Year
*Maxwell Football Club Louisiana Defensive Player of the Year
*Maxwell Football Club Louisiana Coach of the Year
Professional Football Awards:
*New Orleans Saints Offensive Player of the Year
*New Orleans Saints Defensive Player of the Year
*New Orleans Saints Special Teams Player of the Year
do we limit the high school awards to our area or do we also include the rest of the state.
