The Louisiana IceGators announce the signing of Mr. Alligator
The Louisiana IceGators today announced the signing of Mr. Alligator for the position of team mascot. President/General Manager, Brent Sapergia, declared that over the last six weeks of heated negotiations, he and Mr. Alligator have finally reached an agreement.
Terms of the contract were not disclosed as per club policy. “However one of Mr. Alligator’s contract demands that was not negotiable”, said Sapergia, “was that a new alias must be created before he would sign any agreement.”
Mr. Alligator was quoted as saying, “For me to come from the Atchalafalya Basin growing up watching those guys on the Frozen Swamp and now to be here, truly, is a dream come true.
