Interesting football scheduling

And you thought they were going to be nice to you? That shouldn't surprise anyone. You go into hostile territory you need to expect hostile treatment. LSU has no love for anyone no matter who they are. NOT SAYING its the right way to treat visiting team but LSU does have a reputation.

_ I always appreciate an advantage as I'm sure you appreciate the advantages your Cajuns have over many schools in this state. Advantages are a part of life in the sports world as well as in all other areas of life. A guy who grows to be 6-4 is gonna have an advantage on the court over another guy who is 5-10. It doesn't mean the 6-4 guy will win the battle, just means he has an advantage.

The same with you and me. You are probably a smart, good looking guy and I'm not...so, the advantage goes to you. Tis the way of the world.........

Regarding anyone thinking I have advantages of of being smart/good looking is somewhat optimistic. I will say that I have been blessed in many other ways in this life.

_ This is just me, but I would look to your RCAF to " narrow the competitive gulf" more than I would look to the NCAA. It may happen, revenue-sharing, but it hasn't happened in a 100+ years, so I wouldn't pin much hope on it.

My daughter was in Houston this past weekend and picked me up a pie from the House of Pies. Now, I would give you a slice if you were here, but then I'm a sharing kinda guy. If you asked me to reach in my wallet for money to give to you so you could buy your own slice...well, I might have to think bout that a tad. Getting others, any others, to share a "financial pie" with you so you can come back and beat them with it is gonna be a tough sell....but stranger things have happened.

i did not say that i was "looking" to this. i merely made the statement as something that could possibly happen. oh, and i don't want none of your old pie. unless, of course, it would be pecan, coconut cream, boston cream...you get the idea.

_ This next point is relatively minor and it does not bother me, but it does rub some people the wrong way. Some fans of opposing teams just don't want to have "Tiger Bait" yelled at them all day. LSU fans may say if you can't take that, you are not ready for the big time and nothing personal is meant by it. Response, and a valid one, is that you don't hear anything like that when you go to Texas or A&M. Again, it is not a big deal but I know Cajun fans who refuse to go to the LSU game becasue of that factor alone. _

They are a bit raunchy, but I don't care

The shirt is vermillion and in big block white letters on the front reads "I have your Tiger bait Right here" With an arrow pointing down. On the Back it reads simply"Geaux Cajuns"

I was expecting nothing more than civility. I could care less if they are nice to me and no I didn't expect it.
