    Mr. Hicks
I just read an article you have about USA needs to stop the run this weekend. You kept saying Lafayette's run game is good. While reading your article I was thinking south Al was going to play the Lafayette leopards up in PA. Then you mentioned the Ragin Cajuns. I am familiar with the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns and the Lafayette Leopards but not the Lafayette Ragin Cajuns. I do know that Louisiana is in a city named Lafayette. Are the jags playing in Pa or La this weekend? Your article has got me confused.

The guy already stated that he doesn't care per Hammer. That means Bicky's email was a waste of time and energy and most probably worked against what we are trying to do. Especially considering that it was filled with sarcasm. If the guy had begun to sympathize with us, it was just reversed and he will continue to call us Lafayette out of spite. See what I'm getting at here? Stop antagonizing people. It doesn't help the cause.

This guy's not the only one who's confused. I was reading a preview of the Hoax and TAMU game and USA Today neglected to research past 1995:

    FACTS & FIGURES
... The only time Texas A&M lost to a team from Louisiana besides LSU was 1928 when the Centenary Gents beat the Aggies 6-0.....

Sending sarcastic emails and harassing people about the name will not make them change. They need to start agreeing with our opinion about the situation. I.E. Sympathize

I agree with the need and your preferred method, I just thought you saw evidence that the writer night have "begun to sympathize."

He's got a few more articles out this morning and it's more of the same. This Hicks guy is clearly going out of his way to painstakingly call us "Lafayette", even when it sound's off while reading it in his story. He's a sports writer, knows that there is a Lafayette College in PA and that writing just Lafayette in reference to us incorrect. He does not care and no one is going to change the way he references the Cajuns. He's a real pro.

Keep in mind, this isn't anything new. It's not as if SoAl is a new member of the Belt altogether, they are only new in football. Our rivalry with them in the diamond sports and on the hardcourt is long and heated. Losing to us us nothing new for this douche so this childish attempt to belittle us is his balm to soothe his butthurt. Of course, in the process he makes himself look like one of those old hack writers from the American Press.
