BATON ROUGE -- LSU head soccer coach Brian Lee announced the addition of Willie Davis Jr. to his coaching staff on Sunday as Davis will serve as a volunteer assistant coach with the Tigers beginning in the 2009 season after serving as an assistant coach at the Division II level for the past four seasons.

Davis comes to LSU following a successful four-year stint as an assistant coach at Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, N.H., where he helped lead the men's program to the NCAA Division II national title in 2008. He also served as an assistant coach with the women's program at FPC in 2007.

While helping the Ravens win the national championship in 2008, Davis also helped guide the team to an NCAA Division II runner-up finish in his first season with the program in 2005.
