UL's second full-length fall scrimmage looked an awful lot like the first one: defense, defense and more defense.
One week after dominating the offense in its first fall scrimmage, the defense put together another stout effort Saturday morning after forcing seven turnovers at Cajun Field. The Ragin' Cajuns had seven sacks, four interceptions, three fumble recoveries according to unofficial stats and saw nose guard Jordan Topp block Tyler Albrecht's 36-yard field goal try in a two-hour scrimmage that lasted 129 plays.
The defense looked much improved after getting sliced and diced in a short scrimmage at the end of Wednesday's practice.
