 Feufollet brings energetic Cajun sounds to Acadie

Anna Laura Edmiston says she can't help but feel at home when she flies north from Lafayette, Louisana to play in Acadie.

In fact, she didn't even mention any jet lag yesterday as she was preparing for an evening performance with her band Feufollet at the Monument Lefebvre in Memramcook.

"It is the spirit, the people are very warm and they like getting together like we do in the south, to eat, drink, share stories, and the love of the culture and our heritage," said the 23-year-old whose striking voice is featured on the theme song of the Congrès Mondial Acadien: Encore retrouvés. "It is like coming home in a way, and meeting people with who we feel we have known for years."
