These days, Wilma pretty much has her way around the UL President's House.

The 2 1/2-year-old mutt gets to cuddle in the mornings and evenings with her "parents," UL President Joseph Savoie and his wife, Gail. She has a comfortable place to take a nap wherever she chooses, but a favorite spot is the bed in Gail Savoie's art room. She watches the housekeeper, Barbara Jeanlouis, cook meals for the family. The backyard is her playground, where she's often found sprinting about like a deer, chasing as many birds and squirrels as she can find.

"She's so active. Wilma is just a happy, happy little dog," Gail Savoie said. "She's still a puppy at heart."
