UL's Charlie Richard heads to National Senior Games

  Acadiana's Charlie Richard will left for Palo Alto, Calif., where he will compete in the National Senior Games track and field competition hosted by Stanford University.

Richard, who is in his final year of action in the 70-74 age group, is one of the most decorated Senior Olympic athletes in Louisiana. Since 1990 he has been a prominent figure in both the long jump and triple jump at both Senior and Masters meets.
