
At today’s_Microsoft cloud event, Vice President of Cloud and Enterprise, Scott Guthrie introduced two new services to Azure. The first is the new G family virtual machines offer customers up to 32 Intel CPU cores, 450 GB of RAM and 6.5TB of local SSD storage. According to Guthrie, these machines offer twice the memory_of anything offered by Amazon’s AWS service.
