Roy Williams wore # 40 from 1974 to 1976. He was a scatback from Orange, TX and was part of Augie Tammariello's first recruiting class. Was was extremely fast and also returned kick-offs for the Cajuns. I remember a play in 1975 at home against Northwestern were a ball was pitched to him on a sweep, he bobbled it, reversed his field and went 70 yards for a touchdown. I think Roy still lives in the area.

Flew with the Thunderbirds once he finished playing at SLI (pretty sure it was after).
