Ragin Cajun Flags on Lightpoles in Lafayette

I saw some utility crews putting new banners up on N. University on my way to I-10. Also, I never noticed this before since I never take the exit coming from the east, but when you exit I-10 @ 101 (University Ave) there's a giant painting on the concrete of UL. How long has that been there??

I saw them painting it when I was in Lafayette last time, which was June 26th.

Weather permitting, I'm going to ride my bike to campus this afternoon. If there's new UL flags around town, it'll be exciting to take a picture of something new.
