It's my understanding that if a players was never redshirted and played in limited time for the first 6 games there is a rule that allows for him to be redshirted....That's assuming he's not drafted in one of the early rounds

He would have to declare for the draft to be drafted, and that foregos any remaining elgibility, regardless

......I was dismissed after my Soph year and had to walk on.......coach said we were gonna be pretty good with an all conference RB as a walk on....funny but not at the time!!!
