SUN BELT FOOTBALL: Conference releases 2009 TV schedule

Following is the 2009 TV schedule for the Sun Belt Conference that was released this morning on the first day of media days.

UL has no live Cox Sports/Comcast Sports Southeast regional or ESPN-affiliated broadcasts.

The Cajuns will appear on pay-per view in their Sept. 26 trip to Nebraska and on the Sun Belt Network in games against North Texas (Oct. 10), Arkansas State (Nov. 7) and Middle Tennessee (Nov. 14).

UL's Sept. 19 game at LSU will be replayed on CST on Sept. 20.

Knowing the Belt it is probably broadcast off an old Soviet satellite. You will probably have to sign a contract to get it but don't worry it is non binding.

We are on TV 4 times this season at least. I'm expecting the game against LSU to be on Tigervision as well, so that would make 5. I was REALLY hoping that our game against Troy at the end of the year would be an ESPN2 game, but guess not.

I'm also assuming that Sun Belt Network games will still be picked up locally by CST as in the past.

How about those fortunate enough to not suffer under the brutal tyranny that is Cox cable. Directv usually has Sun Belt games on MASN, in fact when they are on CST they show up same time on MASN. Can anybody confirm this?

I didn't see it until after I posted, but I did look before my post and for some reason it did not show up on the list. And of course right after my post it did, oh well.

ALL of LSU's games (even the ones on CBS, ESPN, etc.) are replayed the next day on CST. Our past two games with them were on Tigervision, I still predict this one will be too. Unless, someone else picks it up. As if, that would happen.

As a Direct Tv subscriber, and quite happy for it I might add, and someone who cannot get cox cable because I live in the outskirts of Rayne, I am 100% super ____ed that I once again am left out of the Cajuns tv loop because of how super____ty Cox cable is. Directv has never given me any trouble. Whilst, I know many people, several hundred people whose spines curl at the mention of the name Cox. With the advent of Fiber, I see Cox scurrying back to SE La. for good. Im just hoping these games pop up in the myriad of sports channels I catch with the Sports package. They mostly do on MASN but I will keeps my hopes low.

Usually you can get what you want via PPV. I have DirecTV because Charter is a nightmare. FYI the "Dish network" has the CST channel.
