Why did Johnson run Haack for 3-4 plays in a row, when he can throw! Waste of a possession IMO. We should have tried to keep the ball, make first downs and run the clock out....i don't understand.

Because incomplete passes stop the clock?

The one time they let Haack throw......he came off the first read that was covered and hit 2nd read Tatford for a nice gain. Was hoping they let him run the offense with more passes. Handing the ball off isn't much development.

What about throwing a completed pass and your receiver running out of bounds? The name of the game now is to run out the clock and get home without a late game injury.
