This game is far from over

No doubt. TX State has some firepower. We have to keep up this defensive pressure and our offense can't let up either. I'd keep doing what we're doing offensively. I am curious like TheFan as to where Riles is tonight.

Terrance is playing very well. (And no one I know of hates him). I have no issue running and running some more... tonight. If you can run effectively, you do it. An "honesty pass" here and there is still needed. TX State is getting overly aggressive and needs a pass to keep them off balance. But again, TB is playing very very well.

And this is a defensive scheme with the right personnel. It's a miracle! Actually, it's just a standard defense. And it works. And if they keep it up, it will even work better going forward.

I like the new look defense but let us play this way after a team has film on it, hell let's see the 2nd half adjustments before we crown em. I do like the change though

There isn't much about film that will deal with this defense. It is simply allowing athletes to be in the right place and make tackles. It is the standard fare that we should have been using long before now. And our defensive players are going to build confidence and enjoy busting up plays and smashing people... finally.

Offense scored 14 points. Didn't convert a single 3rd down.......just maybe, perhaps a little room for improvement on offense.

Hey CC. I get where your coming from. But this is a hell of a lot better than what we've seen all year to this point. And I thik it's more about philosophy than just about personnel. Even though the personnel a product of the philosophy. BTW, what's up with Hamilton? Did he swallow a school bus? I mean this guy has to be pushing four bills now. What happened to the conditioning part of the strength & conditioning program?

I agree, I like the defense...just saying, they did not prepare for this defense at all. We will know much more next week after stAte gets to to study film that's all.
