UL - Drums Across Cajun Field will come to Acadiana on Monday, July 20. A local stop on the 2009 Drum Corps International Tour, the event will feature several of the world's top drum and bugle corps in competition.
This is the third year The University of Louisiana's Pride of Acadiana Marching Band hosts Drums Across Cajun Field.
Brian Taylor, director of the UL Pride of Acadiana Marching Band and tour event partner, said this Louisiana stop on the tour is set for 6:30 p.m. July 20 at Cajun Field.
Eight corps will perform at the event including: Phantom Regiment of Illinois, The Cadets of Pennsylvania, Boston Crusaders of Massachusetts, Teal Sound of Florida, Glassmen of Ohio, The Academy of Arizona, Pioneer of Wisconsin and Revolution of Texas.
