UL signee Jensen Tydelski named an All-American

  The postseason honors continue to roll in for UL softball signee Jensen Tydelski.

The Pearland (Texas) High School product was recently named to the EA Sports All-America team as a second-team outfielder.

Earlier this summer, Tydelski was named the Greater Houston Area Player of the Year by the Houston Chronicle after leading all Class 5A players in Texas in hits and stolen bases.

"It was very unexpected," Tydelski said of being named to the All-America team. "As all these awards are coming, I'm getting a lot of compliments about the way I played this year, so that touches me. It's better than anything I've ever felt."

I've seen a picture of him when he was in fifth grade and he was wearing an LSU sweatshirt. I think his parents should have been arrested for child negligence.
