  The Huskers are going old-school.

To celebrate the 300th consecutive sellout at Memorial Stadium, Nebraska will honor the era in which one of the most impressive streaks in college football began, wearing throwback uniforms for the Sept. 26 game against Louisiana-Lafayette.

Nebraska players will wear the same uniform design that the team wore in 1962 during Bob Devaney’s first season as NU coach.

IN'63 I wore one and the uniform was a lot like the 49ers---the pants were like a khaki color with stripes----jerseys were 2 gold stripes > damn we were bad and there was a point of no return--Black Friday --I guess a third of the team left--they needed to---the next year we were in all the games and the next we were champs!!!!
