played a round today.. Had the yeeps, and I thought about the consultant hire on the way home. I'll agree, sometimes a different point of few (ie a buddy critiquing your backswing rather than a coach telling you to focus forward) can sometimes massage new ideas into existence. Change focus, or provide an Ah ha moment. Not usually, but sometimes..

So here's to a long shot. Hopefully it works

According to HUD, he will not be hands on with the players, simply another set of eyes and another voice in the coaches room. He will be here through the season and as I Suspected was involved with the game plan for Georgia state. We actually ran a 3-2-6 at 1 point with no ILB's just 2 OLB's. HUD told willis this is in no way a guy coming to replace you. I have no problem with it if the staff can make it work. If HUD is helping out a friend who can help us out at the same time, I'm all for it.

To run the same exact scheme. I'm sorry but I can't buy him not being able to coach. Especially with the defending national championship team offering him a job coaching linebackers when the DC Pruitt left for UGA. I for one will not put all of this on Willis.

  7. Default Hudspeth hires former Texas Tech coach Wallerstedt

As soon as Louisiana football coach Mark Hudspeth heard word of Matt Wallerstedt's Sept. 18 resignation of his position as Texas Tech's defensive coordinator, he put in a call."The day it happened," Hudspeth said. "I reached out to him right aw...

An inside source states that he has been hired to revamp our coverage. He took one look and immediately stated that it is inadequate and we need better coverage on the backside. So starting today, it's full coverage briefs. From now on thongs are out.
