I read the article, but don't see anything "wow". I can't see how this can hurt at all.

Shoot, hire a few more consultants if it helps. June Jones is available, he was let go or resigned last month at SMU.......

MAT is a negaholic (compliments of Tony Robichaux). Don't mind him.

The only "wow" thing I see is how Buckley's articles tend to ramble...

    It's called reality, sheep.

If you read that article and found nothing "off", you're not paying attention. But I'll dumby translate.

BJ has said on this board multiple times "make no mistake, this is Hud's defense". In the article, Hud insists the opposite.

Hud also says Willis is doing an "oustsnding" job with the defense. That's hilarious at best.

The new hire was rumored to have resigned based on being "under the influence" on campus. Didn't James Willis resign under a cloud of controversy as well, as the board has come to know recently?

The article points out that the new hire consulted for the Ga St and Hud's response to that revalation was "that's my fault" (regarding why no one was told he had been hired).. Also, didn't look much different, other than the fact that we ran a few 6 DB sets.. Still got torched.

There are a few other nuggets in there, but those are the highlights.

How's your blood pressure these days? Mine's fine. I'm not blowing a gasket over a football team who has been successful 3 out of 100+ years. It takes time to build a program. You will have down years. Although, I don't think you can call his a down year yet. We are 1-0 in conference. That's better than 5 other teams. I see a bad game against a team that is better than we thought. The other two were against the #3 team in the nation and a team that doesn't lose at home. You better be here to eat crow should we win the sunbelt. I'm not saying we will, but I'm not doom and gloom like you. I'm waiting for it to play out like everyone else should.

You want to poo poo the fact that this was touted for 2 years to be "the best cajun team ever" be my guest. I won't. My
Blood pressure is fine. Kid is great, wife is gorgeous and bank account is in good standing. But this is not a life forum, a money market forum, or a parent bragging board. It's a football board. I'm passionate about this team because of its role in the community. I will absolutely sound off when something is amiss. And it is. These things have been brewing, as others have pointed out. I've been vocally questioning this staff since the handling of Florida bucko. Check the records. I was never into the man worship of Hudspeth.

Here, here!!!! Hud lied his AZZ off!!!! A consultant is needed when he says Willis has done a great job??? Would that money be better spent on the master plan??? Our defenses have sucked since we lost Ricky Bustle's players. We were defensive back University under Bustle and we are now know as TOAST. A straight answer from Hud
    would be nice

Notice he used the infamous "right now" when he said he wasn't looking to replace Willis. We all know what that means.
