Man if this doesn't tell a story--UL--one guy on the second team---As it should be, LSU dominant -----LSUS with four players----Why would kids sign with these other schools--(not counting Tulane) ---when we have such a great tradition and fan base???? What is going on with us????

UL – Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns pitcher Justin Robichaux again added to his postseason honors as he was named to the Louisiana Sports Writers Association All-Louisiana Second Team in a vote by the state’s media.
It’s the first All-Louisiana honor for Robichaux in his career, who was named to the All-Sun Belt Tournament in May and added ABCA All-South Central Region honors last week.
His selection marks the eighth straight season that the Ragin’ Cajuns are represented on the LSWA squad, and the 14th of Tony Robichaux’s 15 year span as head coach.
Robichaux played a large part in helping the Ragin’ Cajuns pitching staff to their fifth straight year at the front of the Sun Belt pitching standings, as the team maintained a 5.01 ERA. Robichaux was statistically the league’s best pitcher this year, finishing with a 1.98 ERA, a full point lower than any other pitcher. He allowed just 13 earned runs in 59 innings pitched, holding opposing batters to .259 hitting.
In the Sun Belt Tournament he held eventual champion Middle Tennessee to only one run in seven innings of work.
Robichaux had his greatest impact of the 2009 season when he was elevated from reliever to starter during the South Alabamaweekend series. In six starts, he limited opponents to 37 hits over 38 innings pitched and surrendered only three earned runs. He did not allow a home run and sported a miniscule 0.71 ERA.
Robichaux finished the season with a 1.98 ERA, the Cajuns’ best individual mark since Ted Hebert posted a 1.85 in 1990, and good for fifth among all NCAA Division I pitchers, trailing only such notables as the MLB Draft’s No. 1 pick Stephen Strasburg at San Diego State (1.32), Mike Leake at Arizona State (1.36), Michael Schum at Wright State (1.95) and Brian Moran at North Carolina (1.95).
