  Mr. and Mrs. Justin Langlinais of Erath, La., are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Nicole Marie Langlinais, to Rhett Christopher Hebert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph D. Hebert of Henry, La.

  Nicole Marie Langlinais and Rhett Christopher Hebert exchanged wedding vows on Friday, July 24, 2009, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath, La.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Justin Langlinais of Erath, La. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norvin Langlinais and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Thibodeaux. She is a graduate of Erath High School and the University of Louisiana with a degree in speech pathology and audiology. This fall, she will begin pursuing her master's degree in communicative disorders at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph D. Hebert of Henry, La. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Kern Broussard and the late Ode "Bib" and Margery Hebert. He is a graduate of Erath High School and the University of Louisiana with a degree in environmental and sustainable resources. He is a petroleum landman.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless gown made of light ivory iridescent taffeta and Godavari silk. The neckline was embellished by beading and a rouched waistline with a beaded appliqué on one side. The back of the gown featured silk covered buttons and a semi- cathedral length train. She carried a bouquet of white mini calla lilies surrounded by hosta leaves.
The bride's attendants were maid of honor Kristy Langlinais, sister of the bride, and matron of honor Cassey Cornner, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amber Viator, cousin of the groom, Jennifer Langlinais, cousin of the bride, Blair Broussard, Claire Pettit, Margo Huval, Molly McCracken, Megan Hebert, and Randi LeBlanc, all friends of the bride. Flower girl was Hollyn Grace Hebert, godchild of the groom.
Father of the groom Joseph D. Hebert served as best man. Groomsmen included Ross Hebert, brother of the groom, Jake Viator and Skyler Rodrigue, cousins of the groom, Adam James, Brennan Bernard, Bryan Lee, Christopher Theall, Joseph Gayneaux, Judd Thibodeaux, and Nick Comeaux, all friends of the groom. Ringbearer was Jax Thibodeaux, cousin of the bride. Ushers were Reis Stelly, cousin of the groom, and Brett Lee, friend of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Magdalen Place in Abbeville, La. After returning from their honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Abbeville, La.
