I'm over this whole name thing, f' it. We are what we are u.l.l., ul, ragin cajuns. who cares? Hearing people _____ about it is making me sick. I will say one thing, those of you who do complain, usually offer some type of solution. It may not be a good one, but you still offer it.

Well really I don't care, I just have fun with the name thing. Deep down you know you are the same as you've been the last hundred years...a regional school. You will never have your games on radio, tv coverage by news stations, or people calling u the mythical UL outside your 30 mile invisible line around lafayette. To be able to carry the states name you need something other people will envy. I hate to put y'all down cuz you don't control it but the ugliest campus in the state is between yall and McNeese. Ive never been to SLU though. Facilities, maybe Id take the IPF but thats about it. I know ours arent great, but they don't look like they're going to fall apart. _

I was surprised there were so many others in the state. By the way, what are they? The ULM - WHAT?????? Nobody north of Monroe has any idea.

Up in Wisconsin, they may very well have heard of Grambling... but are not sure what state it's in. That is more common than you think.

News flash for you people around the country know there is more than LSU and UL in the state. Most people know where Grambling is because of some many players coming out of Eddie Robinson's program for years. I have met people in states like Michigan, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and California that know who LA Tech, McNeese, NWLA, and by the way Tulane are. You must live a sheltered life up there in Wisconsin if you have only heard of 2 schools in Louisiana. By the way when they find out I am from Louisiana and they talk football the Ragins do not come up.
