Thread: New season ticket holder

    Default New season ticket holder

    Hey guys (gals?),

I'm relatively new to the area but am a big college football fan. So my wife and I invested in some season tickets for the 2009 season and I was just coming on here to get some feedback on certain things. Stuff like parking, tailgating, things to do before the game, etc. Just basic stuff that I figure you guys know all about. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks a lot, and I hope to meet some of you guys during the course of the season.

    Hey congrats!

Most tailgating spots are reserved, so they cost. Others on here know where and cost of these spots, and where there are non-reserved spots. I happended to stumble on Clutch and ZEE and they let me tailgate with them, people are usually generous here. They have a live band on the southwest entrance before the games.

Some of these other guys can fill you in more because, I am usually inebriated and dont know what is actually going on

YOU have got to go to the OAK---lot of guys from the board---located by a big oak tree near the outer fence on Bertrand---the Krewe de Chew located by the electrical building and the former Cajun footballers between the elec. building and the bball stadium---Just walk up and say Geaux Cajuns!!!! OH ---get some friends to go with you and come early---to get preferred parking you need to be a RCAF member!!!!!

Welcome aboard. Come by and visit the Krewe de Chew. We abut the west side of the Maintenance building. No need to bring anything except the urge to sample our food and beverages. Can't miss us...two big white tents side by side, music, food, dancing, prominent Krewe de Chew signage.

Sounds great, I appreciate it. Since I didn't go to UL, I'll be a little lost at first I'm sure. But by mid-season I should be rolling along quite nicely.

I'll be sure to come by and visit all of you as the season progresses. One of the things that got the wife to go along with it was the idea of meeting new people and friends. So that's what we plan to do.

Keep the suggestions coming if there are any more.

Watch out for that Zee character, I've heard things about him.
