WTF happened to innocent till proven guilty? Also I sure hope all you people that are piling up on the kid have NEVER had one beer then driven home from from a Cajun Football game, baseball game, dinner, a party or even gone to the store for something at night after you've had a few....leave the kid alone already and let this run it's course.
Cheap shot? If the coach did it who cares if he is married to her so is Ray rice and a million other men to their beat wives...on to the student....this is some serious stuff...UL shouldn't play around with this. If national media gets ahold of this could ded be a bad look for the program

So you are saying that no video equals no case?? In 20 years I have made hundreds of cases with no video. Trust me if he hit her he will be convicted or plea.

No, he's saying that Hill claims the video will exonerate him. That's why T claims the video is "key". Not to convict, but to defend.

Same difference, what I'm saying is he's wrong because if there is no video it will not necessarily exonerate him. Witnesses and evidence will exonerate him, or convict him.

And no one said it would. Simply said the video was important to him since he claims it will help. BTW, wouldn't the video be evidence? Thanks...keep the change!

Because, as with everything else in life, things are not black and white no matter how much people want to think they are. Nobody knows what Willis' case details were but he was not charged with a crime nor was he convicted obviously and as a poster said, he's still married to the same woman. Therefore, maybe nothing happened more than an argument or non violent incident for which the cops were called. There is something called due process that much of our country has forgotten about since we all assume people are guilty until proven innocent.

The same thing can be said here. Hill should be given every benefit of the doubt until the evidence is sifted through and people determine if charges need to be filed.

There is video and there may not be many witnesses so maybe you just have it backwards.

It was reported on October 3rd. How fast are you expecting it to happen? The police have to investigate, put together all the facts, interview people etc.. and send their findings to D.A.'s office before anything happens. If charges are filed, you have to seek an attorney and ready a defense. This takes time.

Correct and we suspended him the following morning. There is not much else to do except let the process play out.

What if she hit him? Not saying I know any of the facts of this particular case, but since everyone is speculating let's keep in mind that a lot of women nowadays get pretty physical themselves. The days of the totally demure genteel young woman seem to be long gone. I could easily see a situation where she could have bruises from an altercation but it could be from her trying to strike him and him defending himself. Granted, the actions he takes to defend himself against a woman should be measured, not a knockout punch like that delivered by Ray Rice.
