UL - Meetings designed to assist the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in developing a hazard mitigation plan continue at 2 p.m. Monday at Abdalla Hall.

The university received a Disaster Resistant University grant administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

An initial public meeting in April helped identify potential hazards the campus may face.

Monday’s meeting will focus on the results of a risk assessment and brainstorming mitigation goals and objectives, including the identification of projects that could help reduce the risk of loss of life, injury and property damage.
