    Interesting comment by this recruit in that our guys were visitors to a Spurs practice recently. How we were able to do something like that is something I do not know. Had to be a benefit though as they were able to observe what I consider the best run organization in all of professional sports. They also play basketball in a manner in which it was meant to be played-team comes first and individual stats are secondary. Their accomplishments of 5 titles from a mid-sized market is something that is not appreciated enough.

    ---Plus they have the Sisters of the HOLY SPIRIT, which my cousin is the top NUN praying for them!!! They are retired Irish nuns living in SA, and they love the Spurs!!!

    I wondered this as well ... maybe this was from back during the ncaa in SA?

    Being that marlin coached in texas I'm sure he has a relationship with the spurs. They were very interested in EP also, which could explain why.

    Cajuns coaching staff had a staff retreat in SA last week & attended a Spurs practice.
