UH finally pulled the plug on Okorn and replaced him after the first series of the second half following another interception, his second of the night. In fairness, a dropped pass led to the interception. Time to try something new as UH keeps shooting itself in the foot. I hope UL isn't faced with the same thing Saturday, but if so will hopefully do the same thing.

Broadway has been deteriorating since his first bowl win... its not his throwing motion nor system.. He just has been performing worse as his career proceeded. Period He seems like a fine gentlemen and I in no way condemn him as a man. He just seems to not be the QB we all thought he would be.

Houston's QB jumped towards end zone and the ball got knocked away about foot from goal line and knocked into end zone for touch back and sealing their fate with 24 seconds left down by 4

Shouldn't the ball be going towards his target? Like rotated 90°! It totally looks like a shot put.

So, let me get this straight? There's a NEWS article about the Cajuns concerning the QB & the million dollar coach. People post comments on said NEWS article which was printed in the local fish wrap. And people who don't mind blasting defenseless high school teams come on here to deflect attention from said million dollar coach & 24 year old senior QB by trying to high jack thread which people based very reasonable comments & opinions referring to said NEWS article on? What the crap kind of overly sensitive censorship is that. If you were slamming a bunch of tenth graders it would be game on for you guys. But veteran college players & seven figure coaches need deflection from honest & reasonable opinions whether you agree or not? WOW!

Yes, I like most here are not falling for the sunshine pumpers. We all have seen what lofty, non fact based expectations bring us. I hope to God we win, but as I said in earlier posts, Aubuckle is a descent QB who loves to throw. We cant defend anyone in pass defense. I see this game as a shoot out for first half with Broadway throwing 3 picks and our run game stuffed once they realize we cant pass. And before everyone jumps on me, Just realize that that I like the rest of Cajun Nation are still loyal. We just took our Vermilion colored glasses off . Until OUR team proves it different, we are a train wreck waiting to crash again. Sad part is we have no chance against better competition this season as we have screwed the pooch all ready. We are fighting for the cellar dweller role in our weak azz conference. This game is huge.

This game is huge. The country isn't watching with bated breath. But, this game is big for Cajun fans. It isn't big for the bandwagon fan. But I guarantee you it is HUGE for the diehard fans (unless you are nothing more than an emotional diehard - in which case I pity you - that has to suck). It is huge in terms of coaching staff execution.

I cannot wait to observe how we manage this game.
